Remember that first encounter with romance, but you’re not so sure if it really is love?
I was young and dramatic, spending most of my weekends watching indie movies, reading YA novels, and being dramatic on Tumblr. I was that kind of teen.
During this time of my life, I met someone I felt so strongly about. I don’t remember who the person was, nor do I remember the feeling.
But the thing about writing is it immortalizes these moments. The moments that you knew you lived, but over time, your brain decides it’s not worth keeping. Yet in those moments of heartbreak, they were worth crying and bleeding for.
Here it is—an open letter to the person who meant a lot to me when I was seventeen.
